The end sides (C-plan) of ingot drilled out from the boule still need further grinding. Using this fixture, fix the ingot in the middle of the fixture and orient C-plan of ingot with existing DX-8BD400 equipment. Lock the fixture tightly and move them to the surface grinder for end side grinding. After grinding, use this plane as standard to grind the other side. After finish grinding two sides, follow with cylindrical grinding using C-plane as standard. The fixture includes three specifications 2”, 4” and 6”.
